Public Art Projects

Held in 2013-2014, the Faberge Big Egg Hunt, a 275 piece indoor/outdoor public art exhibition, the largest in NYC’s history, raised $2.6M for Studio in a School and Elephant Family through live Sotheby’s and online Paddle8 auctions.

The project featured unique works by prominent artists and designers including: Tracey Emin, Zaha Hadid, Jeff Koons, Shantell Martin, RETNA, Pat Steir and Julian Schnabel whose works were displayed across all 5 boroughs in institutions and commercial venues including Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, Time Warner Center and The MET.

Appraisals

The Corcoran Gallery of Art’s bequest to American University: Awarded national RFP in 2018 for the appraisal of the Corcoran Gallery’s 9,000 piece bequest to American University’s Katzen Center. Collection objects ranged from 3-dimensional modern sculptures to historically significant oil portraits of U.S. government officials and military leaders.


Works by Corot, Gilliam, Lichtenstein, Picasso, Rembrandt, Rivers and Titian were among the bequest appraised for insurance replacement value with the purpose of institutional loans, future exhibitions and on-going student education and enrichment.

Valuing the over 5,000 piece estate of ‘the 5th Beatle,’ Stuart Sutcliffe, and developing a comprehensive strategy around promoting, selling and maintaining the artistic and cultural legacy of the artist though private client sales, auctions and licensing agreements with major brands.

Brand and Retail Collaborations

Bloomingdale’s Windows:
In partnership with Bloomingdale’s and Furla, CP/Art represented glass designer, Abby Modell creating and installing custom windows at the store’s Upper East Side flagship for the launch of Furla’s ‘Candy Bags’ line.
